For Movement-based Organizations
We work with movement-based clients whose budgets range from $1 million to $10 million-plus. Our services include:
- Fundraising strategy development and implementation
- Fundraising campaigns (feasibility studies, planning, and execution)
- Support for virtual and in-person fundraising and donor engagement events (e.g., galas, salons, briefings)
- Donor organizing, education, and engagement
- Donor research, prospecting, and relationship mapping
- Fractional and interim fundraising and development operations capacity
As movement and community workers ourselves, we know firsthand that this is a turbulent time for organizations across the ecosystem. We reserve a portion of our consulting capacity to support emergent organizations, organizations facing acute crises due to a sudden loss in government or private grant support, and organizations in transition whose budgets are under $1 million or projected to fall under $1 million.
For Grantmakers & Individual Philanthropists
Ulos supports individuals and organizations moving money to U.S.-based movements for social justice. We support grantmaking institutions moving $1 million or more per grant cycle, and individual donors moving $100,000 or more per year. We also partner with grantmakers and PSOs to develop and implement capacity building strategies and to support field building and organizing work within the philanthropic sector.
We do not advise or facilitate contributions to political candidates, parties, or Political Action Committees. We offer referrals to vetted and values-aligned political advisors upon request.
